Alan Cablik: President
alan@cablikenterprises.com

Company founder Alan Cablik graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001 with a degree in Building Construction and a certificate in City Planning.  After graduation, Alan accepted an offer from Draper and Associates, an Atlanta based construction-scheduling firm.  Projects of note at Draper include:

  • Turner Campus Phase II
  • managing the development and construction of projects for The Atlanta Housing Authority (AHA)
  • The Aqualina Trump Tower in Sunny Isles, Florida
  • Ritz Carlton Di Lido at South Beach
  • Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne

Alan then was promoted to Draper's construction claims analysis department.  In this position he explored documents and created an as-built schedule in order to assign delay and/or fault to certain parties involved in the project. Cases of note are Metric vs. Pages, the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne Claim, and the Bear Creek Water Treatment Plant Claim.

While working for Draper and Associates, Alan was offered a Vice President position at Anatek, Inc., which he began in January 2003.  His roles included contract administration, scheduling, bidding/proposals, collections, project management, billing, and accounting.  At Anatek, he was involved in projects including:

  • Atlanta’s 17th Street Bridge
  • FAA Air Traffic Control Tower at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport (HAIA),
  • East International Terminal Embankment Phases I and II at HAIA
  • Cooper River Bridge in Charleston, SC

During this time, Alan founded Cablik Enterprises, LLC.  Leveraging his prior experience, Alan has developed Cablik Enterprises into a team of construction professionals that is focused on sustaining Atlanta’s intown atmosphere.  While developing intown properties often includes more challenges than building in suburban greenfields, Alan chose to follow his vision of developing sustainable intown properties.  Cablik Enterprises’ philosophy is that a focus on intown properties is ultimately a more sustainable choice for the Atlanta area, and delivers a higher quality of life for Atlanta residents and businesses.

When he has downtime, Alan enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, travel, exercise, mountain Biking, road course racing, off-road driving, and Georgia Tech football.
