In recent years, Cablik has won OBIE awards for “Best Green Home” and “Best Green Renovation” for 3 of our homes / renovations.
As one example, Cablik Enterprises was sought out to be the green builder for a modern home in the Ansley Park area. The home has been designed from the beginning to meet the USGBCs LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification standards. The successful completion of this LEED home has drawn attraction from the community, and has furthered our commitment as a green builder. This home was the first LEED Silver certified home in the City of Atlanta.
Cablik Enterprises is proud to offer new projects that have earned the ENERGY STAR® label. ENERGY STAR qualified new homes are substantially more energy efficient than homes built to the minimum code requirements. Our ENERGY STAR qualified new homes are independently verified by a third-party Home Energy Rater to ensure they meet ENERGY STAR energy efficiency guidelines. These homes are better for the environment and better for you.

Sustainable Company Operations
Cablik Enterprises isn’t only a green builder; we also employ sustainable measures in our corporate office and operations. Our office space is centrally located near downtown Atlanta, which makes it easy for our clients and potential clients to reach us. Since we focus on intown properties, this means that our office is also located very near to the majority of our projects. This allows us to more easily manage our projects, since we can avoid long traffic times to go to each property.
Our office space is right-sized for our business; we use a modest amount of space, and furnish it conservatively. This not only keeps our overhead costs low, but also reduces our environmental impact since we use low amounts of energy within the space. Our office space has large windows for all workstations, which allows us to utilize daylighting whenever possible. We use previously owned office furniture from previous owners who went out of business; this decision both eliminated potential waste into landfills. We also strive for electronic communication with our clients and suppliers whenever possible, which helps to reduce the need for office paper.
We are constantly seeking ways to make our developments and our office more sustainable. We believe its not only the right thing to do, but it also saves us money, and that allows us to focus our efforts as green builders in Atlanta.
