Cablik Enterprises was hired by the owner of this home to repair and renovate this modern home in Atlanta, Georgia. The home had not been completed by the previous builder, and it had experienced weather damage while the home was vacant. The work consisted of three phases, and included the following:
Phase I involved completing utility connections and repairing and waterproofing the rooftop deck, in order to control further damage and secure the home.
Phase II dealt with the completion and renovation of the home’s interiors.
• Sheetrock and insulation was repaired and replaced on the exterior walls and ceilings. Mold remediation was performed by removing and reinstalling existing trim and doors.
• In bedrooms and main living areas, Installed stair railing, light fixtures, electrical fixtures and switches, interior door and window hardware, HVAC registers, smoke detectors, closet shelving, refinished and stained hardwood floors, painted walls, ceiling, and trim.
• In baths, installed bath vanities, sinks, faucets, toilets, showerheads, towel bars, mirrors, fixtures, exhaust fans, frameless glass in shower, and removed existing tile and installed new tile.
• Installed hot water heater, bartop, sink and refrigerator. Rerouted plumbing and HVAC supply lines.
• In the kitchen, removed pantry to create larger kitchen floor space. Rearranged existing cabinets to create satisfactory layout. Installed cabinet doors and blind panels. Installed new circuit for oven and warming drawer. Installed countertops, sinks, faucet, disposal, appliances, and glass tile backsplash.
• Landscaped / hardscaped yard to include gravel, stepping stones to front deck stairs, and miscellaneous plant material.
Phase III addressed the completion of the exterior:
• Front porch was re-flashed, with new stars. Poured concrete pad for rear deck stairs. All decks were sealed / stained. Exterior was painted, and single-sided 6’ fence installed around property line.
• Installed exterior cameras, gutters, and downspouts. Installed iron railings on decks and stairs, and wireless doorbell.
