Designed by Dencity LLC and built by Cablik Enterprises.
This new modern home in Buckhead began as an engagement with Cablik Consulting, which helped the clients to identify the entire homebuilding package: find the right lot, find the right architect that could create the best design for their needs, and verify that all parts of the deal would work together without conflict.
After performing due diligence and closing on their new Buckhead lot, the design portion of the process got underway. Managed by Cablik Consulting, the clients chose 3 local architects to create a proposed design, based on the needs and wants for their home. The architects presented amazing designs, and we are sure it was difficult for the clients’ to pick only one! After deliberating, they chose Dencity as their architect. This new modern home features 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, an open living / dining / kitchen area, and a spacious backyard pool area perfect for entertaining. The home will be completed in May 2012 as originally promised to the clients.
The home’s entry provides a commanding and striking effect. An exterior stairway built of aluminum treads and railings leads up to a landing, which appears to be floating over the reflecting pool below. From the landing, guests are welcomed by a custom-made 6’ x 10’ iron offset pivot door, which provides a grand entrance into the home.
The open living / dining / kitchen area includes an Italian-made Pedini kitchen, and 24” x 24” white porcelain tiles for a clean, modern look. A separate bar in the living area features a glass countertop and backsplash. At the back of the home, auto showroom doors open to a full 9’ opening leading to a gracious back patio with in-ground pool. This outdoor entertaining area is accessible from both the main living areas of the home, as well as the master bedroom, and a full landscape package compliments the home. The home is wired for surround sound for television and audio.
The master bath in this modern home features a unique teak countertop, accented by a slatted teak platform near the master shower. The other baths feature custom silestone raised sinks.
A custom floating stairway with glass handrails leads to the lower level, featuring a bedroom, and gym with steam shower.
Consistent with many of Cablik’s modern homes, the Argonne Residence is built to Earthcraft standards, which provide sound construction techniques and increased energy efficiency compared to typical construction.
